Ripstik

The Ripstik (commonly mispelt as Ripstick) is often accused of having ripped off the Wave Board. In fact, both The RipStik and The Wave are both newer versions of the original ESS Board that was originally sold in Korea, starting in 2003. Both caster boards have a license to the US Patent owned by the Korean Company Slovie.

Although almost identical to The Wave, the Ripstik has a longer torsion bar, the wheels are slightly bigger and the boards are smaller. There are also a number of cosmetic differences but other than this the boards are almost identical

The Ripstick

There are currently four different Ripstik Boards, and whilst they are almost identical the technical differences between these boards are listed for your reference.
